How to plant

Position them in full sun and loosen the soil to a depth of about 20cm. Plant in well-draining soil at a depth of 10cm and 50cm apart. Water every three to four days for 10 minutes, provided it hasn't rained. Every 2-3 days in pots.

Harvest time

You can harvest fresh turmeric 8 to 10 months after planting. This usually happens towards the end of autumn once the plant has flowered.
