How to plant
Plant out the rhizomes in shade or semi-shade. The soil should be well-drained, rich, and light, enriched with plenty of well-rotted compost. Scadoxus multiflorus ssp. Katharinae thrives with regular feeding and enjoys ample water during active growth, but does not tolerate waterlogged conditions. Plant them with their necks above the soil and 50cm apart. They make excellent container plants or can live under the shade of trees.
